Child and Family Opportunities, Inc. is a private non-profit organization whose mission is to provide high quality, comprehensive early childhood services in the communities we serve.  

CFO advocates for adequate resources and the building of collaborative relationships to promote the well being of children, families and communities.

Vision Statement

Child and Family Opportunities, Inc., the leading resource for early childhood services in Downeast Maine, promotes the core values of respect, acceptance and professionalism as we serve young children and their families. CFO brings expertise in early childhood education, health and development to parents, schools, local organizations and communities. Our flexibility in providing consultation, administrative support, advocacy and early childhood services allows CFO to fill the unique needs of all those it the people and communities we serve. CFO extends the message that children and families are our world’s most precious resource.
